Kayla DoddRehab AssistantKayla Dodd, originally from Providence R.I., moved to New Hampshire in 1997 to raise her daughter. She found employment at an Equestrian Center in 2001 and from there she took a position as a Veterinary technician, where she has been employed for the past 18 years. In 2021, one of her beloved dogs found himself in need on surgery on his front leg. Due to deformities in his back legs, he was left with only one "good" leg. Kayla then began her journey toward finding a way to reduce his lifelong pain, increase mobility, and improve his quality of life. That was how she found Canine Strong, which opened her eyes to a new passion for helping animals. She joined the Canine Strong team in 2023. She has a special interest in nutrition as well as the emotional, physical and environmental health of animals. When she is not helping animals at work, you will find her cuddling with her dogs and cats, enjoying nature, reading books, or doing arts and crafts.
