My dog Odin LOVED his time at Canine Strong for their “Intro to Canine Fit” class series. April was so welcoming from day 1, went at Odin’s pace, and was focused on making sure he had fun! April is so knowledgeable and explained the mechanics of everything she asked us to do. Thank you April for a phenomenal 5 weeks and helping Odin build his confidence! We cannot wait to be back for more classes and fun at Canine Strong!
Renee has been a lifesaver with our dog Cinder's recent knee surgery coupled with her extreme anxiety. She would literally shake in terror on the car ride to the vet's office for appointments/therapy so when Renee offered to come to our house I took her right up on that. She is so friendly, gentle, and caring which is especially important for an anxiety-ridden dog like we have. Cinder loves when she comes and is so much more relaxed being in her own home environment. Renee genuinely cares about the well-being of your pet and the massage and treatments she provides are both effective and efficient. She's the best! Renee has been working with my 2.5 year old Border Collie mix, initially coming to our house and now we go to the new facility. She is simply amazing and my Ari adores her. She has a magic touch and i truly believe she is able to talk to these dogs. Ari is now recovering from ACL surgery, we are doing laser, massage, water treadmill and will continue progressing based on Renne's recommendations. Our dog had bilateral CCL surgery on both her back legs. I cannot say enough great things about Canine Strong and Renee!! Renee provides physical therapy, laser treatment and the water treadmill routine which tremendously helped speed up the recovery process. Renee is very knowledgeable and answered our thousands of questions along the way. I would recommend canine Strong to anyone that has a pet experiencing back, hip, knee or joint pain. They not only helped with the recovery of the two injured legs but also provided therapy and massage to our dog’s front legs which had been bearing most of her weight and over compensating for lack of use of her injured legs. We see such a difference not only in our dogs mobility but her demeanor since seeing Renee! Renee is simply amazing with our 8lb Pomeranian Luna. Luna had surgeries on both patellas before age 3 but still requires a full-time brace on one leg and ongoing massage and exercise because it’s like a wet noodle. She’s typically nervous being handled by other people but Renee’s so gentle and a natural that Luna let her guard down. It’s easy to see how caring and loving she is with Luna and how skilled she is for being able to work those tiny muscles, joints etc. without hurting her. I’m super grateful to Renee and will continue our sessions because it’s making a difference. Her groomer even noticed Luna stands much better now. I want to also say to others who might think a water treadmill is only for larger dogs that Luna has done it and if she can do it, that says a lot since she’s scared of basically everything! No troubles on the treadmill and Renee is right there with her for support. |
Renee is the absolute best. Our dog was one hurting boy. He had TPLO surgery when he was only two. He is now ten. He also had bouts with mast cell tumors, many skin issues, and thyroid problems. When Renee took him on he could barely get up from laying down, had a very hard time with stairs, and you could visibly see he was not feeling well. Renee took him under her wing and he is a changed dog. He is happy, mobile, does little dances, his appetite came back, and he loves being outside (even in the rain and and snow). When I tell him he is going to see Renee he runs right to the door. Renee is so very passionate about her work, and her clients, and has extensive knowledge with veterinary care and animal physical therapy. She has gone above and beyond for our boy, and we can tell she truly treats him as if he were her own. We are beyond grateful we have found her. Our dog Tiger suffered a severe neck injury and his neurologist recommended we take him to Renee for his rehab. Her warm and outgoing personality immediately made us feel relaxed and welcome, but what really impressed us was her knowledge and expertise regarding his specific injury. She knew just what he needed - he could barely stand at our first visit and now he's trotting around the yard. We recommend Canine Strong with enthusiasm and without reservation! Renee has been massaging my old German Shepherd now for over a year. He greatly benefits from the massages and laser therapy. He is a new pup after her visits. Renee is so good with all of my animals that when she visits she has an entourage awaiting all of her care and attention. All dogs can benefit from this service (young, mid age, and old. Dogs that need work before and recovering from surgery). Renee’s knowledge as a veterinarian technician is a huge reason why we book her services every chance we can for our dog.
