becoming an Ortho Tech, she discovered she could take her true passions- healing the body, and her love of dogs and combined them together. When not at Canine Strong, she is working for Pawsome Adventures, a dog walking and daycare service that provides daily walks, hikes, and adventures. Within her year of caring for animals she has learned proper dog handling techniques, behavior modification methods, and animal welfare. Outside of work, Megan can be found playing with her Australian shepherd Jasper. |
Canine Fitness Fix
Don’t let the unpredictable New England weather get you down OR keep you and your dog from spending time together having fun and staying healthy. Take advantage of our Canine Fitness Fix packages. This program is designed to give you the flexibility that you need to work around holiday schedules and weather. There are no weekly class commitments. Just you and your dog, on your schedule and your budget.
(This program could include use of the canine fitness equipment, the land treadmill or the underwater treadmill.). |
This program consists of:
1. Fitness Consultation-$30.00 (30 minutes) During the consult, we will work with you and your dog to determine their desire for and their physical ability to participate in a canine fitnessbprogram. (The $30.00 fee will be applied toward your Intro to Fitness session if you sign up for a package of 4 or more sessions!) 2. Intro to Fitness Session-$50.00 (30-45 minutes) During this session, we will introduce you and your dog to exercises that address the five components of optimal canine health; Strength, Flexibility, Balance, Cardio and Mental. You will learn how to safely and properly use the fitness equipment and we will provided you with some introductory exercises with which to start off your program. (The $30.00 fee from your Fitness Consultation will be applied toward your Intro to Fitness session if you sign up for a package of 4 or more sessions!) 3. Supervised Sessions
During these sessions, you will work on your suggested exercises and try some new ones. We will be present to offer suggestions and guidelines and to keep things safe. |
Cabin Fever Canine Socials
Come use our 1500 square foot, climate controlled gym to let your dog burn off some energy while hanging with their doggy friends and spending time with you. During a Cabin Fever Canine Social, the gym will be free of equipment with plenty of room to run and play while interacting with other dogs in a safe and fun environment. A Canine Strong representative will be present at all Socials, but there will be no fitness instruction. Come avoid the cold or beat the heat with us! Please make sure that your dog can obey basic commands and interact with other dogs and people safely. We require all dogs to have a harnesses or flat buckle collar and non retractable leash. We also require dogs to be up to date on all required shots.
**Unlimited 30 and 60 Minute Sessions pricing is available and is determined by the number of sessions offered per month (call for pricing.)
**Use of the canine fitness equipment is not included in the socials.
Proof of vaccination is required to participate in any of our Open Gyms, Socials, and Fitness Classes. Dogs must enter the building on leash and remain on leash until they have entered the gym space. Dogs attending an Open Gym or Social must be non-aggressive to other dogs and people.
